Useful Links and Hints

Author

The author Samuel Dagan is a professor of physics at the Tel-Aviv University. Further details are found in his home page.

Graphing calculator

The Graphing Calculator is an excellent tool for displaying any explicit function, expressed by elementary functions. We are very thankfull to Jay Nick, the author of Graphing Calculator, who gave us his consent for using this link for Firefox users (any platform): a Mozilla page for adding a toolbar called Graphing Calculator. One can open it or hide it via the toolbar menu ("View" --> "Toolbars" from the browser's menu). A sufficient help is provided.

Grapher application

Users of the plarforms Mac and/or Solaris(Unix) have access to a graphic application for two and three dimensional display of functions called "Grapher". In Mac it is found in "Applications" -> "Utilities". It is very sophisticated and includes detailed help.
